
About Dr. Lobue
Lara LoBue, PsyD is a licensed psychologist who specializes in working with neurodiverse individuals. Dr. LoBue utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) as well as additional evidence-based models to address the individual needs of her clients. She incorporates values-based interventions and mindfulness to help support personal growth and fulfillment. Using a collaborative approach, she helps her clients learn skills and increase independence and confidence in their everyday lives.

Dr. LoBue works with individuals across the lifespan and she is currently a full-time psychologist at The Quad Preparatory School where she completed her post-doctoral training. At Quad Prep, Dr. LoBue has developed skills for working with children who are twice-exceptional (i.e., individuals who are gifted, have a high potential for achievement, and who also struggle with social, emotional, and/or behavioral challenges that impact learning and school success). Prior to working at Quad Prep, Dr. LoBue completed her doctoral internship at New Connections Academy in Palatine, IL. She completed field-based trainings in a variety of settings, including the Seaver Autism Center for Research and Treatment and Spectrum Psychological Services.
